Students of the Month

Each month at Love Guatemala the staff and students are challenged with a value. Everyone is encouraged to focus on the Biblical value and all of the devotionals for that month are centered around it. At the end of the month, each teacher chooses what student best embodied the value.

In January, the value was hope. "May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in Him, so you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit. Romans 15:13" As we notice all the times that hope is mentioned in the Bible, we can be sure that it is such an important principle. We are so grateful to have the opportunity to be able to teach our students such important things.

In February, the value was love. "Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love. 1 John 4:8" We can see all the ways that God shows His love for us throughout the Bible and it is also clear how we are encouraged to love others. The students who were students of the month best showed how to love others.

It is such an encouragement to see the students working hard to be more Christ-like everyday and we love being able to have a student of the month each month.
