What do our students say?

Read below to find out how Love Guatemala has changed the lives of Mercy, Cecilia, & Irma, three recent students.

"Hi my name is Mercy. I graduated last year from Bachillerato. For me, going back to school was more than just a goal. For me, it was being an example to my kids and showing other people that when you want something and you put it in God’s hands, you can accomplish anything. Love Guatemala was a key part of me accomplishing my goal because they not only helped me academically, but also talking to me about the love that God has for me. For that, I will forever be grateful.
"My name is Cecilia Ramirez. I am a single mother and I found out about Love Guatemala through my daughters. My daughters would go to school and they didn’t want me to stay home alone so they suggested I take classes. They thought it would be good for me to continue learning and sharing my life with others so they registered me in Love Guatemala. I have now graduated from the cooking school and I feel very happy and blessed. Thanks to the things I have learned, I have been able to start my own small business selling food in the schools. I have loved learning new things and I am excited to see how my business grows!
"My name is Irma Pineda. I began studying at Love Guatemala in 2020. I started out studying in the Básicos class with a dream to help other women believe in themselves. I myself am a single mother to three children. A future dream for me is to become an English teacher, but right now I am graduating from the Bachillerato course. I have learned to continue dreaming and never give up. In every moment of my life, God has been faithful. I am grateful to have been part of Love Guatemala.
