The first 2 weeks of November we have vacation schools her at Love Guatemala. The school year here in Guatemala runs from January to October. And so most kids are on their “summer” vacation from November until January. So another way in which we give hope to the community here is through offering a two week program for a different group of students than those we have here during the regular year. This allows us to share with these students for a few weeks and love on them. Here are a few pictures from the first few days. We have roughly 150 students here for the next few weeks.
These vacation schools also allow us to allow the regular students that we have in the school to be able to teach and use what they have learned to invest in these other students. Not only are we able to teach many new students but help develop the student leaders we have.
