Anonymous Heroes

Last week we had another wonderful community project by the Bachillerato students. These students decided to serve the firefighters of Magdalena.

The students organized a soccer tournaments for all the classes of Love Guatemala. Each class was able to present a team and play to win the tournament. All of the students had a blast!

In addition to the tournament, they also made and sold food to everyone. They pretty much sold out of all the food!

At the end of the tournament, the students invited two of the firefighters for a presentation. The presentation was called “Anonymous Heroes”. They talked about how even though many may not personally know them, they are heroes to many. In the end, the students were able to present over $300 to the firefighters! We are very proud of all the hard work that the students put in to their project!
