Thanksgiving is coming soon and there are so many things to be thankful for. Like the fact that God is and will always be our king. There are so many things God has blessed us with that we can celebrate and rejoice about. Overall, November has been a great month at Love Guatemala so far.

32 students graduated from our vocational school. Here is a recap video for you to watch! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WvZWi_DRcb4

As many of you know, Pastor Ben is currently in the States and shortly Carlos will be joining him just in time for Thanksgiving! We at Love Guatemala are very excited for Carlos’ trip and are praying that he will be able to bring the message of Love Guatemala to States. We ask that you would pray for him during this time. As well for Kati, his daughter who be looking after the administration while he is away.

This month we also have 2-week vacation school for children ages’ 5- 13 years old. Here Guatemalan children are learning first aid, cooking, art, carpentry, English and alphabetization. Click here to check photos from the first day!

As Thanksgiving approaches for those in the States, having an attitude of thanksgiving all depends on what you choose to focus on. You can either focus on your problems, or you can focus on your blessings. The question is: Do you want more problems, or do you want more blessings? Living with an attitude of gratitude means that you don’t just thank God for what He did in the past, but you also thank Him for what He will do in the future. When we thank God in advance, it’s our declaration of faith. Remember, faith is what pleases God. Faith is what moves Him. Faith is what opens the door for His promises to enter your life. Today and every day have an attitude of gratitude and let your faith say thank you!
