Shanna recently visited here on a team from the United States. She shares about her experience:
“My third missions trip at Love Guatemala was very impactful as always. There is the excitement of see how your friends are doing, the joy of their faces when you see them again.
One of our projects was to help 100 kids go to school with school supplies and we were able to send over 200. This shows nothing is too big for God. Then we got to visit a public school giving extra school supplies because they accepted kids even if they could not pay. There were kids with backpacks as big as them that were jumping with joy to see you. Even though we don’t speak the same language, hugs, smiles and pictures really speak a million words.
My family here in Guatemala will always be in my prayers and forever holds a special place in my heart.
