Children’s Day Celebration

The other day we celebrated Children’s Day!

Even though there was a downpour of rain, the children still loved the celebration. The feeding center area was filled with decorations and balloons, and our literacy program teacher, Leyli, came to play games with all of the kids. The children were all so excited to play charades and compete in races. It was very cold, but with all of the fun and activity, the kids didn’t seem to mind at all. After their games, the children received their lunch and a little gift bag with candies and a toy to celebrate the occasion. The kids all had a great time, and some stayed longer to play with the balloons even after the activity was over. It was so great to see their smiles and be able to celebrate their day!
