Last week, some of our staff members spent an evening passing out food, connecting with people who were hurting, and most importantly sharing the Love of Christ.
Throughout the year, different classes have been working on projects to help the community. That ranged from supporting the firefighters, to having a day to share the Gospel with children. To finish out all of those projects, the staff at Love Guatemala also wanted to do a final project. So members of our staff traveled to a hospital in Chimaltenango, Guatemala to give support in many ways.
They passed out food and drinks to more than 200 people at the hospital. That included family members of people who were accompanying their loved ones who were admitted in the hospital, as well as nurses and doctors on staff. They also donated medical supplies that had been left over from a large medical trip that the church had organized.
The hospital was very grateful for the support and our staff were very grateful to be able to share the Gospel!
