Right now we have an exciting project going on. One of our graduated students was greatly in need of a house. Nancy and her son had been living in a small house shared with some of her family members. It was not just crowded, but a complicated family situation that made it difficult to raise her son.
Nancy had been an art school student who graduated years ago. She captured the hearts of people who visited Love Guatemala. One of those people decided to sponsor her all throughout her years in school and still keeps in touch and visits. Thanks to a generous donation from her sponsor, we were able to purchase materials to build her her very own house. Now she will have her own space to be able to take care of her son.
