We are so excited to be able to continue staying in communication with our feeding center kids! A couple of weeks ago we were able to visit some of the kids that were with us each week. Many of the families are not able to work in this time and are struggling. It was such a privilege to be able to bring them bags of food to try to help them.
Also in our visits with the kids, we were able to weigh them to make sure that they are continuing to grow in this time when they are not able to visit the feeding center twice a week like before.
The most important thing, though, was being able to ask the families how we could pray for them and spend a time in prayer together. With everything going on, it can be easy to feel scared or without hope, but it was such a blessing to remind the families and ourselves that God is in control and He is taking care of us.
We can’t wait for the next time we are able to visit!
