Last week we had a field day with our students and staff! The activity day was to raise money for our upcoming Mother’s Day celebration. People sold food and drinks there to help with the fund. All of the teams that participated went through obstacles including crawling through mud, running a “marathon” and going from one tree to another by walking on a rope. After completing each obstacle, the teams received a part of a Bible verse. When they completed all the obstacles, they had to put together the verse correctly to win. The Bible verse that they had to complete was 2 Timothy 4:7, “I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.” Everyone had a good time with the obstacles and it was great to see everyone working together to get through it!! After the obstacles we also had soccer games. There were eight teams who played. We had four girls teams and four boys teams. It was great for everyone to cheer on their teams and celebrate every goal! We are so happy to be able to have a fun day with all of our students and staff!
