As you may know, a big change has been coming to Love Guatemala for a while now and today is finally the day! Katy has been learning and preparing to take on this new role for a long time and we are very proud of her as she steps up to become the director.
Katy started her time in Love Guatemala as a secretary. She worked very hard and eventually became an administrative assistant. She continued to grow and take on new responsibilities until she was brought up to be the director of schools. As time went on Ben and Carlos both realized that she would be perfect to take over as director when it was time for them to transition out.
Katy is very hard working, eager to learn, and always wanting to grow in her relationship with Christ. It is very evident how she has a heart for the ministry and the community. We are thrilled to watch this transition occur and we can not wait to see all that God will do as Katy follows His lead. With all that being said, congratulations to our new director Katherinne Lopez!
