This last Friday we had an awesome opportunity to have a group from Indiana and Ohio here with us. They came here to do a medical trip for the people in the area. In total, we were able to have 193 patients! Each person to come would get their information written down, then get their vitals taken by one of the nurses, pass through to see a doctor, and finally go to have someone pray for them. The people were able to choose to see a gynecologist, general practice doctor, dentist, or ophthalmologist. The patients were able to be assessed by the doctor as well as given any medications needed, thanks to the “pharmacy” that the team set up. While some of the team worked with the patients, others played games with the children who came. We also had the chance to have some of our English students translate for the team members. It was such a blessing to see so many patients!
