Board

AaronAaron Story serves as the current President of the Board of Directors for Love Guatemala. He has been a part of Love Guatemala before there was Love Guatemala and just a dream with a few students in the art school. He and his family have been supporters and made many trips to Guatemala over the past 5 years. Aaron is the Lead Pastor of Indy Metro Church an urban church helping people know and follow Jesus in downtown Indy. He holds an undergraduate degree in Business Management from Indiana Wesleyan University, and a Masters in Biblical Studies from Moody Seminary.

 

RichIrishRich Irish serves as the current Vice President of the Board of Directors for Love Guatemala. He has been a supporter of Love Guatemala for many years and currently sponsors ministry leaders, a school, teacher and student. Rich heads the Deacon Board at Indy Metro Church where he serves as the deacon of pastoral care, leads a 1st Impression Team and teaches in Metro U, an adult Sunday school. He is a retired Army officer having served 23 years and holds an undergraduate degree in Business Administration and a MBA from Southern Illinois University at Edwardsville.

 

AmyAmy Goldsmith serves as the Secretary of the Board for Love Guatemala. With a Bachelor’s in Biology and a Master’s in Healthcare Administration, Amy is passionate about interdisciplinary education, mission-driven service, and strategic planning. She has worked in community-based health education and planning as an administrator at the Marion County Health Department; currently she produces Artrageous with Nate, a children’s public television series on art. Amy is also a deacon at Mosaic Church, where she serves on the missions committee.

 

Ryan FloraRyan Flora has been a supporter of Love Guatemala for many years and currently sponsors ministry leaders, and students. Ryan has attended Northview Church in Carmel for the past 13 years and served as life group leader, health, safety and security lead, and currently serves on the mission committee for the Westfield campus, and actively volunteers with the Discipleship Walk. Ryan also founded the Fellowship of Christian Firefighters Hamilton County Chapter where he served as president for several years. Ryan is a career firefighter for the City of Fishers where he has served for the past 15 years and is currently finishing his bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety and Health.

Charles HowardCharles Howard is the founding pastor of SouthPointe Church in Whiteland, Indiana. Through Charles’ passion for global missions, he has encouraged his congregation to be faithful supporters of the Kunkel family and Love Guatemala. He has mobilized teams from SouthPointe to work at the vocational center and serve the needs of families in the community. Charles and his wife, Jennifer, have been married 18 years and they have 3 children. He has earned a Bachelor of Science in Pastoral Studies and a Graduate of Theology from Baptist Bible College in Springfield, Missouri.

David ElsworthDavid Elsworth, a Michigander by birth, has lived in Macon GA for the past 13 years. He is an Aircraft Inspector for Department of Defense at Robins Air Force Base. His spiritual gift is serving others, as evident by his involvement as a mentor to recovering men at Rescue Mission of Middle GA And as a current foster parent. He and his wife Emily have been married for 10 years and currently have 5 children. He first visited Love Guatemala with Piedmont Church on several mission trips, where he fell in love with the children and developed a passion for helping them become educated and break the cycle of poverty. He Is actively involved in sponsoring students, a teacher, and the literacy school.

Kimberly PageKimberly Page began her partnership with Love Guatemala in December of 2013 which markedly impacted my her life. Upon returning, Kim left the corporate world of finance after 14 years and opted for a more Christ-centered life. She started her own business teaching art to children and adults alike, all the while sharing the gospel. Kim makes regular mission trips to Guatemala on a semi-annual basis, forming and training new teams each visit and serving God by serving others
